No. You connect the Codex and Claude subscriptions you already use. Techtropic provides the local workspace, coordination, review, and automation around them.
Techtropic does not add its own execution or token counter. Your provider's account limits, model availability, and usage policies still apply.
The app and its worker run on your Mac. Project workspaces can use local folders or the included Linux computer. Your prompts and files are not sent to a Techtropic inference service.
